MANUAL FOR WOMEN
““What is necessary to know about the diagnostics and treatment of breast cancer?”
Under support of the Federal Mammological Center of the Russian Ministry of Health and Social Development the Institute for Family Health created the manual “What is necessary to know about diagnostics and treatment of breast cancer”, targeting women who have been diagnosed with this disease. Its goal is to give the basic information about breast cancer, methods of diagnostics, treatment and social-psychological support. The Guideline offers a list of medical terms that women can come across during treatment: it will help to understand the processes better and to make an informed choice. Some of the most common questions, which women with breast cancer usually have, are also listed in the Manual.
