  • Clinical-Organizational Guidelines on Prevention of HIV Mother-to-Child Transmission

    The subject of these guidelines are clinical and organizational issues of providing care in maternity hospitals to women, focusing on prevention of HIV vertical transmission at the stages of prenatal care, during delivery, and postpartum and to the baby after birth. These guidelines have been developed for doctors and mid-level personnel in outpatient-ambulatory institutions, maternity hospitals, and AIDS centers, and employees of the sanitary-epidemiological surveillance. They are also intended for healthcare authorities of various levels.
