The World Health Organization (WHO)
This is a structural unit of the UN, which directs and coordinates the international efforts in the area of health care. The WHO scope of activity includes solving public health problems, planning scientific research, determining policies, developing norms and standards in health care with the help of evidence based medicine principles, providing financial and technical assistance to different countries, controlling the situation in the area of health care and assessing its moving forces and trends.
