This training embraces the most burning issues in prevention of HIV among secondary school students; it is focused on methods of HIV transmission prevention and forming of safe behavior among adolescents.

Description

The training program reflects best Russian and international experience in the field of HIV prevention.  It demonstrates preventive, diagnostic and treatment techniques proven to be the most efficient and economically feasible from the point of evidence-based medicine. Seminar materials have been developed jointly with leading HIV experts. Positive results are reached through active use of video materials, presentations, discussions, case studies and role plays.

Goal

To advocate for HIV prevention, to improve psychological, pedagogical, medical and social support to adolescents living with HIV in educational institutions.

Participants

Heads of regional educational departments, heads of secondary schools and college teachers.

·         Basic information regarding HIV/AIDS. Ways of HIV transmission. Life expectancy of people living with HIV;
